Shungite has fullerenes, c60, which is also known as buckyballs. The main component is the carbon atoms that compile and connect the hexagons and pentagons which form a sphere.

These natural fullerenes are ideal absorbents (3) It is also full of anti-oxidents, which are known to be able to destroy free radicals, neutralize and magnetize all while still staying intact, which is truly unlike any other antioxidant. This makes Shungite a natural source of purification, anti-septic and very absorbent and adsorbant stone. (1)

Anti-Septic Properties

Shungite has broad spectrum of bactericidal properties; in a specific study the mineral was adsorptive active against some bacterial cells, phages, and E.coli (3).

Purifying Properties

With their high electronegativity, fullerenes appear in chemical reactions as strong oxidizing agents and remove free radicals out of water 30 times more effectively than activated carbon (3).

Adsorbing Properties

Shungite adsorbs on its surface up to 95% of contaminant and is able to purify waste water from oil (3).

Adsorb vs. Absorb

Shungite is able to both absorb and adsorb, and the difference is below. To absorb is to actually take something in, while to adsorb is to adhere to something.

Adsorb: the adhesion in an extremely thin layer of molecules (as of gases, solutes, or liquids) to the surfaces of solid bodies or liquids with which they are in contact.

Absorb: take in or soak up (energy, or a liquid or other substance) by chemical or physical action, typically gradually.

Shungite was a natural way to help shield rats from the damaging effect of microwave radiations. This shows that shungite likely has positive shielding effect from electromagnetic radiations (6).

Shungite samples were characterized by high absorbing capacity of microwave radiation (4).

Shungite has an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action against UVB-induced skin damage in hairless mice (5).

In conclusion, we believe that Shungite can be used in your daily life – it is a great natural way to help negate the EMF’s and 5G waves. You can certainly around your electronic devices, near your modems / routers and other EMF producing devices. You could even wear it as jewelry, so that you don’t even have to worry about the moving or the placement of your Shungite.

Of course, I’m no physicist, or doctor and I don’t fully understand how it works, but I am sharing as much research as I have done and I agree with. There is A LOT of information out there, especially now that there is a lot of access from the internet. Shungite is an inexpensive and noninvasive and we will continue to use and sell Shungite in our everyday lives.
